GIDEON’S ARMY
Every Wednesday from 5:30-6:10am on the dot
This is gutsy worship, manly prayer and time in the Word. You won’t find the word “precious” in anything we do, and we only want men who “drink like dogs” (Judges 7:5). Your liquid breakfast (coffee) will be ready for you.

VINEYARD COMMUNITY CONNECTION (VCC)
“Connecting people through Christ”
Do you or someone you know have a light household project that can’t get done? We don’t mean the ‘I just don’t want to do it project’, but we mean the kind where installing a ceiling fan is beyond your capabilities. Or your body just doesn’t allow you to do some project due to an ailment. Or maybe you know your elderly neighbor could use help repairing her ceiling that’s falling in. VCC has a pool of volunteers ready and able to help with these projects. Here’s the catch: Firstly, if you are referring someone else to have a project done, please talk with them first to make sure they would welcome assistance. Also keep in mind if you refer someone, you will be required to help with the project. Secondly, project referrals can be made in the following ways - E-mail your project request, complete a Connection Card on Sunday or talk with your Home Group Leader.

HOSPITAL CARE
If you are sick, we want to pray. If you are having a procedure, we want to pray. If you are in the hospital for any significant time, we want to pray and maybe even visit. One catch, we don’t know about this stuff unless you tell us. If you know of anyone in our church with these needs, please let the church office know by either calling 614.277.2700 x 104 or e-mail. If you or someone in our fellowship goes into the hospital after the church’s normal business hours (T-F 9-4:30pm), please contact Dennis or Sally Drummond directly at 614-878-6090. Side note: we are always looking for people with a heart for the sick who would like to join the visitation team. If this is you, please let us know by completing your Connection Card on Sunday morning.

CHILD DEDICATIONS
Parent’s Meeting on Sunday, March 11th @ 1pm
Dedications on Sunday, March 18th
As Christian parents, we do not want to raise our children alone. We want Jesus to raise them through us. The Bible sets a
precedent in the second chapter of Luke when Jesus, as a baby, was prayed for and blessed by Simeon. Also, in Mark 10:13-16, Jesus blesses children by praying for them. Child Dedication at the Vineyard is a time when we present children (under the age of 12) and their parents to Jesus and ask Him to bless them. If you would like to hear more about Child Dedication, please register on your Connection Card and plan on attending the brief parent’s meeting. Child dedications are open to any child newborn through 11 years.

ADULT BAPTISMS
Three required meetings on Sunday, March 11, 18 & 25 @ 6pm
Baptisms on Palm Sunday, April 1st
If you are 12 years of age or older and have yet to be baptized, consider attending the three preliminary meetings scheduled at the church. Baptism symbolizes your union with Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection. We are not baptized in order to be Christians. We are baptized because we are Christians. Our next baptism service will occur on Palm Sunday! If you would like to attend the meetings to get more information on baptisms and
talk with a pastor, register on your Connection Card.

PRAYER MINISTRY TRAINING (PMT)
Saturday, March 10th from 9am-12pm
Learn how to pray more effectively for yourself, friends, family and the world around you. Through the use of the Vineyard
Prayer Model, learn what the Bible says about prayer, laying on of hands, healing the sick and blessing others. This class is for everyone from the new believer to the more seasoned Christian. Whether you are new to prayer or have experience praying, come for a refresher on communicating with our Father. PMT will only be offered a couple more times as a stand alone course. Beginning in the fall, PMT will be incorporated into our Discipleship Training Series. PMT is required in order to pray for others in worship or special services.

DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING 400 (DT 400)
Tuesday, March 13th @ 7pm
Discipleship Training 400 (DT 400) is the fourth and final level of our Discipleship Training Program© offered at the Vineyard. For those who have traveled through the journey of the first three DT classes, you are not only eligible, but encouraged to complete your discipleship experience with DT 400. This class will focus primarily on “kindness ministries” and outreach efforts. As Jesus’ disciples, you will put your learning into motion and make an impact on our community. This class meets officially three times (March 13, April 3 & 17) but time in between class is spent working on your group project.  Sound a little out of your comfort level? Yeah, we get that.  You’ve come this far and we know this will also be a growing and enjoyable time for you! Anyway, did you hear what you get when you accomplish DT 400?  Read the Great Commission and find out! (Matthew 28.18-20)

ACTS IN GROVE CITY
Saturday, May 19th
On Saturday, May 19th, we hope to unite the efforts of at least 2,012 volunteers, all in bright orange T-shirts, representing more than 15 churches in Grove City. We will be joining together as The Body of Christ, transforming our community through love
and service. Right now, we are looking for ACTS Coordinators. In order to be a coordinator, you need to have a nice combination of people skills, the gift of administration and time to spare.  You will either be coordinating all 2,012 volunteers into  categories, or overseeing painting or carwash projects on this special day. If you have been praying for an opportunity to step out and serve our community with your administrative skills and talents, please contact Tiffany Sorenson or visit their website for more information.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Wondering how you might be able to be used in service or ministry at the Vineyard? We are looking for several people to help with some different ministries. Contact us if you have interest in any of the following:

Sight Ministry - Help run the slide show for the Sunday service. Open to people 16 and older. An interest meeting and training will be held on Sunday, March 4th @ 5pm with Pastor Tom.

Sound Ministry - Help run and mix sound for our band on Sunday morning and be available for special events. If you like music, are 16 or older, and think you have an ear for this, attend the training on Thursday, February 23rd @ 7pm with Pastor Tom.

Meet & Greet Ministry - Want to get involved in a small way while blessing others? Our Meet & Greet ministry will help with classes and events such as Vineyard 101 and Pastor Welcomes. There’s a great variety of ways to serve for both women & men.

Worship Team Ministry - We are looking for talented people who would like to serve on the Worship Team. If you play an
instrument well, we would like to talk to you.

Art Exhibit - Display your talents in our art exhibit hallway! Contact the church for details.

DONATIONS
We are truly grateful for the generosity of this fellowship. Throughout the year, this church eagerly responds to our
request for donations and continually supplies food for our monthly grocery giveaway. However, until there is a designated need, we kindly request that all clothing donations be given to either the Westside Free Store or the Kidney Foundation who will pick up donations from your front door. Thank you!
