Life Groups

This is how we do life at the Vineyard! We value one another. Life Groups are a great way to connect with others on the same journey as you. These groups generally meet twice a month, in various places between Sundays. Directions and details can be found on the information board in the church lobby.

    1st & 3rd Monday @ 7 p.m.

    We know it's not quite original, but we are "a life group for people who didn't think they'd like life groups". We typically have a Bible study, discussion and prayer time. Led by Atul & Lisa Pandey.

  • God's word for women

    every Monday @ 7 p.m.

    This is a Bible study for women who wish to grow deeper in their Biblical knowledge as well as build lasting friendships. We explore many different books and passages in the Bible, throughout the year, allowing time for all who attend to understand it. Our class is a sisterly, community gathering which discusses our own understanding of the Word and how to implement His commands in our lives. We share the love of learning about our Lord and in this process get to love one another in Christ! Led by Nina Thomas.

    Use and build upon your talents in knitting, crocheting, sewing and quilting with a group of like-minded friends! Led by Brenda Mocarski.

    1st & 3rd Wednesday @ 7 p.m.

    We are a group of friends who love each other and also love to eat! We study God's Word and how it's relevant in our lives today. On the first meeting of the month, we start off by having dinner together. Led by Ron & Kathy Jones.

    every Wednesday @ 7 p.m.

    This is a chronological Bible study for both men and women. There is an assigned daily reading that will be discussed at each group. Our prayer is that this group will encourage you as you read God’s Word. No childcare is offered. Led by Carol Sayre.

    2nd Wednesday @ 7 p.m.

    We're a supportive group for parents of adoption, foster or respite care. Come express your joys and challenges together! Led by Bryon & Tina Tonn.

    We are "real" people. We know how to laugh, cry and love each other. The leaders of this life group like to say that leading this group is like herding cats. Led by Todd & Tina French.

    every Wednesday @ 5:30 a.m.

    We meet at the church for this men's group filled with gutsy worship, manly prayer, time in the Word and brotherly bonds. A great way to start your day! Led by Brian Pauquette.

    1st & 3rd Wednesday @ 7 p.m.

    Our group is composed of mostly “spunky seniors”. We are a good mix of married couples and singles. There is a lot of wisdom, joy and gladness in our group. Led by Rick Dumas.

    Come and join the “seekers” where any age or stage in your walk are welcome to join us for fellowship and fun. Let’s meet others and grow in our faith together.

    1st & 3rd Wednesday @ 7 p.m.

    Come for a time of in-depth Bible study as we enjoy lively discussion about the scriptures. Our evenings also include an intentional goal of building authentic community with one another. Led by Tom & Karen Pauquette.

    Come enjoy this group that meets for fellowship, Bible study and prayer. Genuine relationships will be built as we spend time together seeking the Lord. Led by Rob & Amy Dauber.

    Solo Sisterhood is a Life Group for women seeking encouragement, purpose and wholeness after finding themselves on their own. The focus will be on what we have versus what we have lost. Led by Chris Shrout and Barb Albert.

    Our group is fun-loving and laid back; we laugh a lot and shed a tear now and then. We talk very candidly about our lives and how we love Jesus through all the ups and downs. Led by Tom & Sandy Anderson.

    Our life group is a family of mature Christians who are generous servants of Christ. Led by Ramona Booth.

    We genuinely invite the presence of the Lord to lead us and encourage one another to live our faith outside the confines of the church, and to make a difference in the world. Led by Don & Kathy Ivers.

    1st & 3rd Thursday @ 7 p.m.

    Our group is an informal gathering, mostly made up of thirty-something couples with young children. We are “just a bunch of folks doing life together”. Childcare is offered for $5 per child. Led by Adam & Amanda Gray.

  • new roots

    1st & 3rd Thursday @ 7 p.m.

    This group is for adults in their 20's and 30's who are forming new social and spiritual roots. Led by Erich Kassner and Bruce & Stacey Culver.

  • book it plus

    1st & 3rd Friday @ 7 p.m.

    The main focus of the group is the study and discussion of Christian, non-fiction literature. In addition to the non-fiction, we have added some extended Bible study and fictional, Christian literature. There is time for personal prayer and a brief worship component. After completing a book, we come together for a fellowship meal, or dessert coupled with an alternative activity. New participants are welcome at any time. This is not a closed group or “book club.” Led by Gary & RaMarie Swart.

  • companions on a common journey

    4th Friday of each month @ 6 p.m.

    Companions on a Common Journey is made up of mature singles looking for fellowship and companionship meeting on the fourth Friday of each month at 6 p.m. We meet at a different restaurant each month for dinner and companionship. Led by Aleta McFarland and Claudia Roberts.

  • under 30

    1st & 3rd Friday @ 7 p.m.

    This is a group for young adults, joining together to discuss today’s events and what’s happening in life. The Bible speaks through everything we face today. This group is for you if: you are 18-29 years of age, you are married or single. Got kids? Please make other arrangements for them. Led by Tom & Karen Pauquette.

    Saturdays @ 8 a.m.

    This Life Group for men meets every Saturday at 8am. Prayer, discussion and brotherly support can be found here. Come see how God's Word relates to being a man in today's world. Led by Gary Lash.

  • I.B.C.

    2nd & 4th Saturday from 9:30 - 11 a.m.

    I.B.C. is Issachar/Berean Connection and we look at Biblical prophecy and what's to come for the church. Led by Pat Howiler.

  • scribblers writing club

    1st & 3rd Saturday @ 10 a.m.

    This Life Group is a feedback group for those who wish to hone in on their writing skills. If you enjoy writing, get support from others with the same interests and talents! Led by Sean Mitchem.

  • T.R.I.P.

    varied scheduled outings

    T.R.I.P. stands for "Travel the Roads to Interesting Place". This group is "organic" and meets every month or two for a day trip to an interesting place. The purpose of this group is to create a fun and low-cost day out, just a couple hours from Grove City. Led by Donald & Marie Schaffner.
