The G.R.O.V.E. Children's Ministry

During the COVID-19 pandemic, online teachings and our kid's programming can be found on The Grove Facebook page

At The Grove, we are excited to share the love of Jesus with His smallest of children! If you have any questions about our children's ministry, contact our director, Heather Fleck and she will be happy to answer any of your questions.

This is how it works

Infants and children in Kindergarten go to their classrooms before service. Kids who are in 1st-5th grade worship in the auditorium with their parents first, then are dismissed to their classes before the message is given. We strongly value the idea that kids learn how to worship the Lord from their parents’ example.

All children enjoy a safe, fun class with curriculum and activities tailored to fit their age group and level of understanding.

Our teachers are Christian men and women who are dedicated to being the hands and feet of Jesus by sharing His love every week. During classes, the kids participate in lots of activities including prayer, worship, stories, art, and drama!

Safety First

We consider it a privilege to be entrusted with the physical and spiritual well-being of your child while you connect with God each week, and we take that responsibility very seriously. Each of our volunteer teachers is background checked and completes a training course with information about teaching children of specific ages.

Regular attenders and guests visit the check-in station upon arrival. Each child is given a printed name badge and a cooresponding badge for the parent. This provides another level of security since only the person with the cooresponding badge may pick up your child at the end of class. We always have volunteers at the check-in station ready to help you with any questions you may have.

Our Goals

  • Provide quality, age appropriate, Godly programs for our children.
  • Facilitate a fun, God-centered, family-focused community within the church.
  • Provide parents with the tools to teach their children about Christ at home.
