Life Groups

This is how we do life at the Vineyard! We value one another. Life Groups are a great way to connect with others on the same journey as you. These groups generally meet twice a month, in various places between Sundays. Directions and details can be found on the information board in the church lobby.

  • God's word for women

    every Monday @ 7 p.m.

    This is a Bible study for women who wish to grow deeper in their Biblical knowledge as well as build lasting friendships. We explore many different books and passages in the Bible, throughout the year, allowing time for all who attend to understand it. Our class is a sisterly, community gathering which discusses our own understanding of the Word and how to implement His commands in our lives. We share the love of learning about our Lord and in this process get to love one another in Christ! Led by Nina Thomas.

    We know it's not quite original, but we are "a life group for people who didn't think they'd like life groups". We typically have a Bible study, discussion and prayer time. Led by Atul & Lisa Pandey.

    Use and build upon your talents in knitting, crocheting, sewing and quilting with a group of like-minded friends! Led by Pat Plummer.

    1st & 3rd WednesdayS @ 7 p.m.

    We are a group of friends who love each other and also love to eat! We study God's Word and how it's relevant in our lives today. On the first meeting of the month, we start off by having dinner together. Led by Ron & Kathy Jones.


    1st & 3rd WednesdayS @ 7 p.m.

    Come for a time of in-depth Bible study as we enjoy lively discussion about the scriptures. Our evenings also include an intentional goal of building authentic community with one another. Led by Erich & Lisa Kassner.

    every Wednesday @ 7 p.m.

    This is a chronological Bible study for both men and women. There is an assigned daily reading that will be discussed at each group. Our prayer is that this group will encourage you as you read God’s Word. No childcare is offered. Led by Carol Sayre.


    1st & 3rd WednesdayS @ 7 p.m.

    We are "real" people. We know how to laugh, cry and love each other. The leaders of this life group like to say that leading this group is like herding cats. Led by Todd & Tina French.

    every Wednesday @ 5:30 a.m.

    We meet at the church for this men's group filled with gutsy worship, manly prayer, time in the Word and brotherly bonds. A great way to start your day! Led by Christo Albert.

    1st & 3rd WednesdayS @ 7 p.m.

    Our group is composed of mostly “spunky seniors”. We are a good mix of married couples and singles. There is a lot of wisdom, joy and gladness in our group. Led by Rick Dumas.

    Come and join the “seekers” where any age or stage in your walk are welcome to join us for fellowship and fun. Let’s meet others and grow in our faith together. Led by Bret & Nicole Wood and Jim & Carol Saylor.


    1ST & 3RD wEDNESDAYS @ 7 P.M.

    This is group where you will enjoy fellowship with others, a Bible study and prayer. Led by Tiffany Sorenson & Lynn Thomas.


    1st & 3rd ThursdayS @ 7 p.m.

    Our group is fun-loving and laid back; we laugh a lot and shed a tear now and then. We talk very candidly about our lives and how we love Jesus through all the ups and downs. Led by Tom & Sandy Anderson.


    1st & 3rd ThursdayS @ 7 p.m.

    We genuinely invite the presence of the Lord to lead us and encourage one another to live our faith outside the confines of the church, and to make a difference in the world. Led by Don & Kathy Ivers.

    Our life group is a family of mature Christians who are generous servants of Christ. Led by Ramona Booth.

    Our group gathers together for Bible study and fun. You are welcome to bring your children. We are “just a bunch of folks doing life together”. Childcare

    is offered for $5 per child. Led by Josh Macklin and Brian Pauquette.

    1st & 3rd ThursdayS @ 7 p.m.

    This group is for adults in their 20's and 30's who are forming new social and spiritual roots. Childcare is offered in this group for $5 per child, per group. Led by Bruce & Stacey Culver.

  • companions on a common journey

    4th Friday of each month @ 6 p.m.

    Companions on a Common Journey is made up of mature singles looking for fellowship and companionship meeting on the fourth Friday of each month at

    6 p.m. We meet at a different restaurant each month for dinner and companionship. Led by Aleta McFarland and Claudia Roberts.

  • I.B.C.

    First 3 Fridays of each month @ 7 p.m.

    I.B.C. is Issachar/Berean Connection and we look at Biblical prophecy and what's to come for the church. Led by Pat Howiler.


    1st & 3rd FridayS @ 7 p.m.

    This is a group for young adults, joining together to discuss today’s events and what’s happening in life. The Bible speaks through everything we face today. This group is for you if: you are 18-29 years of age, you are married or single. Got kids? Please make other arrangements for them. Led by Pastor Christian Root.


    2ND & 4TH FRIDAYS FROM 7-8:30 P.M.

    All middle school students are invited to a special home group designed just for them. Each study will be geared to your student, using the Bible to find the answers they are seeking. This group will meet on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month at the home of Tim and Lindsey Pierce. Led by Tim Pierce.

  • brother to brother

    Saturdays @ 8 a.m.

    This Life Group for men meets every Saturday at 8am. Prayer, discussion and brotherly support can be found here. Come see how God's Word relates to being a man in today's world. Led by Gary Lash.


    2ND & 4TH sundays from 4-5:30 P.M.

    A Bible study designed to help our high school students learn more about the Bible and get a firm foundation. Open to all high school students. Led by Kevin Fleck.



    tHIRD SATURDAY AT 12:30 P.M.

    Caring for someone close to you, be it a relative or close friend is hard and important work. You may find yourself getting burned out or not sure where to turn for information. Maybe you just need someone to talk to who understands. You aren’t alone and the caregiver needs care too. Join us on the third Saturday of each month at 12:30 p.m.. We will meet for lunch at the China Bell on Stringtown Road. Come share your experience and hear tips and ideas on caring for our aging loved ones. Benefit from other people’s research and get help finding the answers you need.

    T.R.I.P. is a group at the Vineyard that explores interesting places throughout Ohio. Their day trips generally land on Saturdays. If you are looking for a fun day trip with like minded people, watch for their next scheduled event. Led by Betty Delk and Vicki Barnett.
