children's Ministry

Our Children's Ministry is called The G.R.O.V.E. which stands for Grow, Reach, Others, Values and Eternity. Our goal is to provide quality, age appropriate, Godly programs for our children from birth through fifth grade. We not only serve our children but provide parents with the tools to teach their children about Christ at home.

the greatest journey

The Greatest Journey is an interactive discipleship class for all children in grades 1-5. God is using The Greatest Journey to raise an army of young evangelists around the world. Kids will learn the Gospel message, how to share it with others, and become faithful followers of Jesus in their daily lives. Each participant will also pack a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child! Classes begin on Wednesday, October 6, and meets for six weeks from 6:15 - 7:45 PM.

Registration is required, although there is no fee for the class.

what we do

children birth through grade 5

Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment for kids from birth through fifth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other. All children enjoy a safe and fun class with curriculum and activities tailored to fit their age group and level of understanding.

COVID-19 response

keeping our kids safe

Both our 9AM and 10:30AM services offer classes for all children in the nursery through 5th grade.

Due to the world we find ourselves in, we are taking sanitizing seriously. Children will always receive new or sanitized items in their classes, and each room is cleaned thoroughly between services.

How it works

where to go and what to expect

When visiting Vineyard for the first time with children eligible for The G.R.O.V.E., you will be directed to the children's check-in station where an actual live person will walk you through the process. You will register your child(ren) during your first visit and answer a few questions. On subsequent visits, you'll be in the system and check-in will take less than a minute.

Each child is given a printed name badge and corresponding badge for the parent providing another level of security. Only the person with the badge may pick up your child at the conclusion of service.

volunteer teachers

Who are they?

Men and women within our fellowship volunteer to teach in The G.R.O.V.E. Before each teachers' three-month tour of duty, they have completed a background check and a training on safety and how to provide the best teaching for children of specific ages. They are devoted to being the hands and feet of Jesus and giving your child the best care.

If you have an interest in volunteering, e-mail our Children's Ministry Pastor, Heather Fleck, and she would be happy to discuss opportunities with you.

club 345

for kids in grades 3, 4 & 5

Kids in grades 3-5 go to Club 345 where they will experience interactive worship, hands on & relevant lessons, break out groups and a time to fellowship with friends. There are all kinds of surprises that happen each week from science experiments to guest speakers.

At The G.R.O.V.E., we are excited to share the love of Jesus with His smallest of children! If you have any questions about our children's ministry, contact Pastor Heather Fleck and she will be happy to answer any of your questions.
