serving at grove city vineyard

get involved by volunteering at the church

Serving at the church on Sunday mornings or throughout the week is a great way to meet new friends and take ownership of your church. Here are some volunteer opportunities that will help you grow, serve God and others! Click on the email icon under each category to contact the ministry leader to express your interest.

  • welcome team

Greeting and being available to people as they come to a service is one of the most important things we can do. YOU may be the only Jesus they see….YOU are the feet and hands of Jesus reaching out to them.

  • children's ministry

Serving in The G.R.O.V.E., our children's ministry, is a great way to spend your time. Make a lasting impact on our younger ones in the church by teaching for a quarter. You will be partnered with another teacher and given all the necessary tools to succeed.

  • worship talent and tech

There are many ways to serve on the GCV Worship team – from the stage to the booth! We are always on the lookout for more musicians, vocalists and behind the scene workers with lighting, video and sound. This type of talent is important in fielding a full worship team on stage. • student ministries

Our middle and high school students have many opportunities to gather together to form bonds and grow in faith together. Adult leaders help facilitate these gatherings and we can always use more helpers, in a variety of ways.

  • prayer teams

Prayer is our first line of defense in our faith. We offer several prayer gatherings where people in need of prayer or people who love to pray can experience the power of the holy spirit. If you want to be a person who prays for others at prayer meetings or at the conclusion of our Sunday services, contact us.

  • Outdoor ministries

This is our church and volunteers take care of the mowing, trimming and gardening on the property. Enjoy the outdoors by making our grounds look amazing! Teams run on a rotating basis, serving about once a month during the season.

  • security team

A top priority of ours is to keep our gatherings safe. We do this not only by following CDC protocols and guidelines, but also having eyes and ears alert inside and outside of our building during services. It's comforting to know we can freely worship God by taking all unnecessary distractions away.
